Offtrack
The Offtrack Overlay turns red whenever you’re off track.
Note: iRacing’s telemetry data doesn’t always match its internal offtrack detection. This means the overlay may not be 100% accurate on all tracks.
Use Case
Section titled “Use Case”Some offtracks are very tight, and it’s important to learn just how far you can push the limits. This overlay helps you fine-tune your line.
1. Drive laps Use the active reset or drive several laps through the turn you’re working on. Gradually push closer to the offtrack limit until you trigger it.
2. Review in replay Open your replay and find the exact moment you triggered the offtrack. Use slow motion or step through frame by frame to study your car’s position and understand exactly where and how you crossed the limit.
Settings
