VC for Coaches/Teams

In addition to using Grid and Go’s curated datapacks, VirtualCoach also supports importing your own telemetry through a Garage61 connection. This allows for customized coaching based on team or personal laps.

  • Team Requirement: You must be part of the same Garage61 team as the driver of the lap you want to import. Without this, the lap will not be accessible.

  • Data Quality Matters: The effectiveness of VirtualCoach is directly tied to the quality of the reference data. For best results, use only high-quality laps with consistent driving and accurate telemetry.

How to Import a G61 Lap

To use your own data from Garage61:

  1. Click the “Use G61 Team Lap” button in the VirtualCoach interface.
  2. A window will appear prompting you to enter a Lap ID.
  3. Obtain the desired Lap ID from your Garage61 data platform. Graph Overlay
  4. Paste the Lap ID into the field and click Load.

If successful, the data will be imported and used by the VirtualCoach for overlays, lessons, and analysis.

By importing Garage61 data, you can tailor your training to your own driving style, team strategy, or track-specific goals—just make sure the data you use supports meaningful learning.
